I am an adventurer! I love to travel and experience everything that life has to offer! I have traveled to many exciting cities in the United States and have gone as far as Nicaragua and Spain, where I lived for three months! I believe that experience is life's best teacher!

About Me

I work as a full-time Kindergarten teacher and everyday is a mystery! I never imagined that I would become a teacher, but through experience, I have found that it is my true passion. Having the ability to make connections and impact someone's future is an amazing opportunity that I cherish! I will soon be working on a Master's Degree in Education.

Experience

I have a Bachelors Degree in Spanish and currently work at a dual-language school as a Kindergarten teacher. I have been working in education for nearly three years, starting with tutoring English to high school students in a poverty-stricken environment, which led to teaching my own class of students at the elementary level. I have continued to build upon my knowledge through many literacy conferences and professional development opportunities across the country, so as to be highly effective.

Approach

Growing up, school did not come easy to me, so I can relate to students who need extra support. However, I do not believe that getting help from a tutor should feel like a chore. Learning should be engaging and fun. As an educator, I am always implementing new ways for students to learn and feel excited about the subject matter that they can carry with them and use for a lifetime.
