Fun Facts
I'm from a very small town in Wyoming (Torrington), and I love San Francisco! I like to read in my spare time, and spending time with my family is very important to me. Some of my favorite authors are Jodi Picoult, J.K. Rowling, Nicholas Sparks, and John Green. I also love Disney movies and most music!
About Me
I'm a math major at the University of San Francisco. I want to work in a statistics-based field when I graduate, but I'm not 100% sure what I want to do yet. I love math and school in general! I was a National Merit Scholar, and I made the Dean's Honor Roll last semester (my first semester here).
Experience
I tutored various kids in my homeroom throughout high school informally, but I worked for a middle school tutoring program when I was a sophomore in high school, as well. I was also hired as a private tutor by a few families for their kids working on elementary math. This summer, I will be attending MathPath Summer Camp as a counselor -- I can't tell you how excited I am for that!:)
Approach
My parents are both community college professors, so the value and importance of education was instilled in me at a young age. I try to help everyone find the fun in learning and find a love for something.

Mathematics
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I am a math major, and I have never NOT received an A in my math classes. I have completed many algebra classes, the calculus sequence, and linear algebra. Parents in my home town have hired me to tutor their children in various elementary-grade-level math classes, and I worked as an after-school tutor at the middle school in my home town for a year.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I am a math major, and I have never NOT received an A in my math classes. I took College Precalculus as a sophomore in high school and later completed the calculus sequence. I worked as a tutor at an after-school program at the middle school in my home town for a year, and I tutored various kids in my high school home room at the request of my home room teacher.
Algebra Tutoring
I am a math major, and I have never NOT received an A in my math classes. I have completed the algebras, geometry, trigonometry, the calculus sequence, and linear algebra. I worked as a tutor at an after-school program at the middle school in my home town for a year.
Algebra II Tutoring
I am a math major, and I have never NOT received an A in my math classes. I have completed the algebras, geometry, trigonometry, the calculus sequence, and linear algebra. I worked as a tutor at an after-school program at the middle school in my home town for a year.

Trigonometry Tutoring
I took College Trigonometry as a sophomore in high school and received an A. Since then, I have continued to take many math classes, including the entire calculus sequence. I have received an A in every math class I have taken.
Middle School Math Tutoring

Elementary Math Tutoring
I am a math major, and I have never NOT received an A in my math classes. I got a 33 on my math ACT and a 760 on my SAT math subject test. I have been hired as a private tutor for various elementary students.
English Tutoring
I have taken College English 1 and 2 and received A's in both. I also got a 34 on the English section of my ACT. Throughout high school, I worked as layout editor for our school newspaper.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I received a perfect 36 on the Reading section of my ACT. I also got A's in College English 1 and 2 and throughout high school. I worked on the school newspaper and read for fun!:)
