Fun Facts
I have enjoyed traveling to different countries. My wife and I have a home in El Salvador. I have been a volunteer chaplain for the Armed Forces of El Salvador, and for Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice. I have ministered God's Word at Darrington Unit and at Terrell Unit in Rosharon, TX. I am a Senior Citizen, My wife and I have 6 grown kids and 9 grandchildren.
About Me
I am a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and an ordained Rabbi from Shema Yisrael Theological Institute in Miami, FL.
My major was in Modern Language and Linguistics which include ESL (English as a Second Language) and Spanish. I also teach basic Hebrew language (reading and writing).
At present, I teach ESL at Houston Community College and I am a Special Education Aide at Hightower High School (Fort Bend ISD) .

Experience
I have had over 30 years of experience in teaching English as a Second Language. I started in 1990 at a small elementary school in Key West, FL teaching first grade ESL.
I taught Spanish as a Long-term substitute teacher at Kempner High School (FBISD) and at Progressive High School, also at Fort Bend ISD.
When I lived in Brownsville, TX. I took a course in teaching literacy through LAUBACH Literacy Action and taught basic literacy to families in Brownsville.
Approach
I try to work with the student to understand concepts in the material at hand, giving examples and allowing the student the try as well. I try to give positive encouragement and try to build the student's self-confidence.
