Fun Facts

Hello! My name is Claire Parker and I have several fun facts. Since my dad is the youngest of ten children, I have dozens of cousins and second cousins, it makes it hard to keep track! I love having a big family though, and it makes certain that family reunions are never boring.
I also love animals, dogs in particular. I have two dogs back home in California named Gunnar and Mocha.

About Me

I am a freshman at TCU from Los Angeles, CA and I love school! I am a nursing major becuase my favorite subjects are science and math and I want to help assist people. I also play soccer and am a goal keeper for the TCU Club Women's Soccer team.

I have tutored throughout high school as a part of the National Honor Society and individually. In addition, I often tutor my younger brother and sister in all areas, especially math.

While tutoring, I find it very important to have the student find the answer themselves. As a tutor I first help explain processes and theories is easier terms than a textbook might have in order to help the student grasp the concept in their own way. Then we will tackle the problem with their new and clear understanding of the concept and find the answer together.
