Although I will be graduating with a science degree, I have always had a strong passion for reading and writing. I am always reading books in my free time and love writing my own fiction for fun.

About Me

I am a senior biology major at the University of Pennsylvania. I will be graduating with honors as well as a minor in English. Next year, I will be attending medical school with ultimate goal of specializing in surgery.

Experience

Since high school, I have enjoyed helping my fellow peers excel in their classes. I find working with people extremely rewarding and an opportunity to relate to the patients I hope to one day help as a physician. My first tutoring experience was through my National Honor Society and I continued to instruct people through a first aid course I led at an elementary school in West Philadelphia.

Approach

Having gained a lot of experience working in different atmospheres, I have come to find that no two people have the same approach to learning their coursework. This has allowed me to foster an ability to truly understand a person's thought process so that we can develop the best approach to mastering a subject. I have never been a fast learner and so I always make an effort to place precedence on patience and persistence in order to help students retain knowledge and the skills to succeed.
