Fun Facts

My biggest passion in life is dance! I have been dancing for nineteen consecutive years. Furthermore, my father is an Episcopal priest which has allowed me to grow up with strong Christian morals and beliefs. I recently transferred to Texas Christian University in the fall 2013 semester from Azusa Pacific University, a small private school in California. I am very excited to begin a new chapter of my life here in Texas and can't wait for all of the amazing opportunities to come my way.

About Me

I am a Junior Movement Science major at Texas Christian University. I am specifically on the pre-Physical Therapy tract as well. In the future, I hope to attend the University of North Texas and graduate with my doctorate of Physical Therapy and work as a Sports Medicine Pediatric Physical Therapist. I have always been fascinated with the human body and all of it's various functions and abilities. After recovering from a serious knee injury in 2011, I decided that my calling in life is to help other children and young adults during their own rehabilitation process.

I love working with children and young adults and have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others. During my middle school years, I had a tutor who helped me succeed and accomplish my academic goals. Therefore, I am extremely equipped and knowledgeable on how to tutor students effectively and help them reach their highest potential. I am also very organized, responsible, and trustworthy which allows me to help the students in the best possible way I can.

During high school, I tutored middle school and elementary aged students in various subjects for two years.

I believe that the most effective way to tutor a student is by utilizing the one-on-one environment. It allows the student to feel a more personal connection to their tutor, therefore allowing them to feel more comfortable with asking questions. Also, I strongly believe that a tutor's positive, encouraging, and supportive attitude can create a safe and welcoming environment for the student to learn in and become more confident.

Geometry Tutoring

I completed Geometry in 9th grade and received an A in the overall course. I am very experienced in tutoring Geometry, and I have been able to raise all of my student's Geometry grades by at least two letter grades. This is so because of the approach I implement. Specifically, my approach breaks down complicated Geometry concepts and topics into simpler sections, which the student can understand and therefore follow.

Homework Coach Tutoring
