About Me
I am in my third year of pharmacy school at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. After pharmacy school, I plan to complete 2 years of post graduate studies in psychiatric pharmacy. I then plan to take the board exam to become a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist (BCPP). Ultimately, I would like to open my own private consultation clinic. Using my knowledge and expertise, I will provide medication therapy management (MTM) to individuals living with chronic health conditions with an emphasis in working with individuals living with psychiatric disorders.
My past denver">tutoring experience includes:
Organic chemistry in preparation for the PCAT
Algebra in preparation for the GRE
College level English courses
Writing, reading, math, and science at the elementary education level
I believe that knowledge is the key to discovering one's full potential. Knowledge is best acquired through education. Each individual is unique, as is each individual's learning style. What works for one student in a subject may not work for that same student in another subject. When denver">tutoring, I have developed a list of guidelines.
1. Figure out if the student is aware of any specific areas where he/she may struggle and why my student feels he/she may be struggling in these particular areas.
2. Observe each student's learning patterns to identify areas where he/she may be struggling.
3. Discuss my observations with my student and work with my student to develop more effective approaches.
4. Encourage feedback from my students regarding observations he/she may notice about his/her own learning patterns.
This approach works great because it can be tailored to each student. In addition, it gives my students the opportunity to be involved in figuring out what they need in order to be successful in school.
