About Me

I am a Columbia University Master's in Public Health candidate. I am currently studying Health Policy and Management and hope to work in the policy making process in the future. I graduated from Boston University in 2016 with a degree in Human Physiology, as well as, Spanish and Public Health. I have spent time abroad completing internship in Spain and Greece.

Experience

I have tutored students starting as young as 5 years old and up in multiple subjects. Before college, I would tutor my non-English speaking cousins and friends in English!

Approach

As a child, I had a few tutors for some of my subjects and I understood from these interactions what the best way was to learn. Since becoming a tutor myself, I have spent a lot of time with a variety of different students with different needs. I am very patent and thoroughly enjoy spending my time teaching students and helping them through the material. Instead of giving the answer, I help students approach the problem differently and see it from another angle.
