Fun Facts
I am an avid golfer as well as a volunteer assistant golf coach at Westlake High School. I teach and practice martial arts and self-defense. I enjoy traveling as well as outdoor activities including walks through nature reserves.
About Me
I have a Bachelor of Science of Physics from Tuskegee University. I graduated magna cum laude with a grade point average of 3.76. I have earned a variety of scholarships and awards as an undergraduate including: College of Arts and Science Dean Outstanding Student Award, Phenomenal Physicist Award, MARC-Star Research Award, Alabama Academy of Science Mathematics and Physics Award, Tuskegee Achievement Award and Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society.
Experience
I am currently an AP Physics teacher at Westlake High School in Atlanta, GA. I also serve as an education consultant for Martin Street Church of God Christian School as they develop early education Lego Robotics program. Prior to this, I worked for the United States Department of Energy as a Mickey Leland Fellow and a system analyst. Approach
My approach commences with an evaluation of the students’ confidence in the concepts to be leaned. After evaluation, I reinforce confidence through positive feedback and encouraging rhetoric. This will reduce the stress the students experience when learning new complex concepts. Once stress is reduced, I evaluate the learning styles of the students and cater my teaching engagement to their learning styles,providing the best environment for the student to accept and understand new concepts.

Algebra Tutoring
I have a degree in Physics as well as teach at a local High School. All students are required to be proficient in Algebra concepts to help them understand Physics. Additionally, I have to constantly review algebraic and pre calculus concepts as I teach Physics.
