Fun Facts
I moved around quite a bit during my childhood, but my family eventually settled down in Sharpsburg, Georgia. It is a small town so there wasn't much to do. It was then that I developed a passion for reading and learning new things. I love music and sports! I also enjoy hiking, biking, and dancing. I'm the youngest of five children and I can speak Haitian Creole.
About Me
I am presently working towards my master's degree in epidemiology at Georgia State University. I received my bachelor's degree in biological science from the University of Georgia. My ultimate goal is to become an environmental epidemiologist for an international agency.
Experience
I have experience tutoring a number of subjects including: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Biology, and Writing. I have tutored in both group settings and individually. I enjoy helping students gain a passion for learning and I am looking forward to working with the students of Frog Tutoring!
Approach
As a child, I was always drawn to the classes that were both challenging, yet fun. The teachers that found new, interesting ways to teach us were always my favorite. I feel it is my responsibility to bring that same passion in my work. I like to make learning fun. If the student isn't engaged, they won't learn as much.
