Fun Facts
I love to fish, sail, go to new restaurants, watch movies, and learn about science, especially animals. I have two dogs that are pretty much my sons. I used to be ranked seventh in the nation in fencing. I volunteer at the local hospital and hope to go to med school one day.
About Me
I am a sophomore Biology major at the University of Colorado Denver. I currently have a 3.88 GPA and have been on Dean's list since I've started back at school. When I graduate, I hope to attend the University of Colorado for medical school. My goal is to go into oncology or orthopedic surgery. I am member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Gold Key Society honor societies.
Experience
In school, I am the "go to" person with my friends who need help in their classes. I am more than happy to help them, and one day my friend suggested I become a professional tutor. I'm excited that Frog Tutoring is giving me a chance to make a difference in people's lives, and hope to help people achieve their academic dreams!
Approach
I am truly passionate about learning, and I think this is indispensable in fostering a lifetime of learning. I think just learning the facts behind something can be a little dry, but understanding how and why something occurs is what makes things interesting. I believe once someone understands something at THAT level, he or she can apply that knowledge to any situation, whether that be a test or in life in general. I truly want to light the fire in people to love learning for learning's sake.

Biology
Biology Tutoring
I took advanced environmental biology in high school, and have taken Bio 1 and 2 in college. I have received an A in all of them. I routinely tutor my fellow classmates in biology and am extremely passionate about it.
Chemistry Tutoring
Although biology is my favorite subject, chemistry is arguably by best subject. I've received straight As in all my chemistry classes, and plan to keep it like that. I tutor my fellow classmates that need help in this class all the time.
Math Tutoring
I have done well in practically every math class I have taken. I truly enjoy math and believe I can even teach people to love it like I do. I've most recently gotten an A in pre-calculus and a B+ in calculus 1.
Physics Tutoring
I have surprised myself and found out that I love physics. I did well in physics in high school, but it was in college that I found my passion for it. I have received A in high school physics and am getting an A in college physics 1.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I recently took Pre-Calc in college and thrived in it. Again, I do love math and want to share that with others. Pre-Calc is indispensable to success in calculus, and I believe I can guide people through it.
Trigonometry Tutoring
Trigonometry has always been something that came naturally to me. I received an A in trig in high school and can show people how I did it.

I believe my passion for science began in middle school, and quickly became my best subject to this day. I have always done well in science, including now, where I have a 4.0 in my science classes. I am often the person that tutors others in my class because I pick it up quickly.
