Fun Fact: I've played soccer my entire life. I love going out and playing with my friends when I have free time! I love water sports and going on the boat with my friends during the summer. I am a middle child and have two brothers! I also love to take road trips down the west coast and hangout on the beach!

About Me

I am currently enrolled at Seattle University. I am a freshman here looking to minor in Spanish and major in psychology! I'm originally from Issaquah, Washington so I love this area! I hope to stay in the Pacific Northwest and hopefully work on issues in this area with our city.

Experience

I had the opportunity my junior summer of high school to intern at a physical therapy office in Issaquah. I had the best time and learned so much about the field. I got to work with patients of all ages and personally got to know them while they were being worked on. I also worked at TJ Maxx in downtown Seattle my first two quarters here and got to learn a lot about the people who live here and the city itself!

Approach

Going through middle school and high school Spanish, I really struggled and didn't find interest in the subject. When I learned I had to take a year of the language again in college I was extremely nervous. But then, I got professors who were passionate about making their students succeed and learn not just about the language, but the culture. I fell in love with the language and hope to inspire some younger kids to stick with it and maybe they too will fall in love with it.
