Fun Facts

While I'm primarily a musician, I have a great love for science, philosophy and all sorts of performing arts. I've collaborated with NASA, written music for children's theater, and had my pieces performed by full orchestras. I enjoy bringing my love for these subjects to younger students.

About Me

I'm a classically trained Baritone, but also a conductor and composer. My goal is to make my living through music, but I'm ok with it being performing or writing! Both are fascinating and challenging in their own ways.

I tutored Aural Skills/Music Theory/Ear Training for 1 year in College. After working with me my students no longer needed any maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring! I've also worked with younger kids as music director for a summer children's theater in Wilton, NH. I've spent time in Europe practicing Italian, French and German. German is by best language, and I would look forward to helping anyone with their German.

Every student is an individual and hence every lesson will need an individual approach. I often find that the largest blockages for students happen when the teacher has only presented material in one way, or sometimes when there is a bit of background learning that the student is missing. Finding out the best way to show the material to the student is, without fail, a rewarding experience.
