Fun Facts

I was on the dance team in high school. I love the Wizard of Oz! I took German in high school and I am continuing my German studies currently. Although I have never been out of the country, my dream is to live in Germany for awhile!

About Me

I am a sophomore Elementary Education major at the University of Oklahoma. I am on the President's Honor Roll and have a 4.0 GPA. I am an Oklahoma Regents' Institutional Nominee Award winner. After graduation, I plan to earn my Masters in Professional Counseling.

Experience

All throughout school, I helped my peers with concepts they did not understand. I love to help people figure things out and learn to enjoy school. This year, I have had the opportunity to tutor an elementary student in math once a week, while also observing and assisting in a third grade classroom. I hope to continue to help children learn through Frog Tutoring!

Approach

While I have always enjoyed school, I know several people who did not. They talk about school like it is just a chore. My goal is to make students enjoy going to school and learn new things. It seems like many classrooms are not engaging students enough. I want to provide students with fun and worthwhile ways to learn topics. When students enjoy learning, they are more likely to retain information. I hope to bring a very discovery-style approach to your student's tutoring sessions!
