Fun Facts
People often recognize immediately that I have a huge passion for games and dogs when they see my infinite nerdy T-shirt collection and stop to greet the adorable dogs passing by. Gaming is where I find myself comforted and it pushes me to see things in a different perspective. Besides being engaged in gaming, I also love going on adventures with my family. We often take spontaneous hiking and camping trips. Other times, we try new outdoor hobbies such as kayaking and dirt biking.
About Me
I am currently enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program at Kennesaw State University. I’m also a recent chemistry graduate from KSU. I plan on going back to school for either a bachelor in Mathematics or Engineering. I love learning new things and challenging myself to be better than I was yesterday.
Experience
I found my passion for sharing knowledge with others via study sessions with friends in high school. In college, I developed different ways of sharing with others. I started at Georgia State University and tutored during my breaks between classes with my professors’ recommendations. I believe that anyone can learn anything they want. Each individual has a different way of comprehending what he or she experiences. Frog tutoring can broaden the types of people I am able to work alongside and help.
Approach
Many kids do not enjoy school and find it frustrating or boring. I was one of those kids and only liked learning what was interesting to me. My mom signed me up for many tutoring sessions and after school programs in elementary school. After awhile, my mom had financial issues so she stopped signing me up. I noticed that the tutoring sessions did make a difference. As a tutor, I have found that patience is the best approach. Sometimes students need gentle guidance to fully understand concepts.
