My Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree are from the University of Arizona in Animal Sciences. I am a registered Phlebotomy Technician, and have 5 years of experience in clinics and hospitals. I teach reproductive Anatomy and Physiology to the Arizona student midwives, and have taught lecture and laboratory sections in anatomy and physiology at the University of Arizona in Physiology, Anatomy, and applied Nutrition. Currently, I am a PhD student and research assistant at Arizona State University in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation.
I have tutored from grades 4-12, and at the college level. Coming from a background where college was considered beyond reach, I appreciate the value of hard work and dedication. No student should be in a position where they are told that their goals are in no way attainable. Partnerships between parents, mentors, students, teachers, and creativity can overcome nearly anything!
Students can only learn effectively when they can relate to the material. In order to make material relevant, the phoenix">tutor or teacher must know the student, their learning style, level of understanding of the material at hand, and willingness of the student to achieve their own goals. Helping students realize their potential within goals that they have set for themselves is critical for success.
