About Me
I am a native Chinese student. I went to the middle school and high school in Hangzhou, China. I have been living in U.S. for five years.
Currently, I am a master of Public Health student in NYU College of Global Public Health. My concentration is epidemiology. Last May, I earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I also minored in Psychology, because I am interested in comprehend other people.
Experience
When I was in high school, I taught middle school students about their homework. In summer of 2013, I volunteered in Nepal and taught kindergarten kids English. Also, I had experience of teaching kids in Chinese and high school students in Biochemistry. Although I do not have a long time tutoring experience, working for Frog Tutoring helps me to be professional and gives me opportunities of helping more students. I may not be the most experienced tutor, but I must be the most patient tutor.
Approach
As a tutor, I will help students to answer their questions by understanding both methods and basic concepts behind questions.

Biology Tutoring
I have taken biology, immunology, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics in college. The average score for those class is B.
Chinese Tutoring
I am a Chinese native speaker. I went to middle school and high school in China. I am good at writing in Chinese. Meanwhile, I can introduce Chinese culture and background in teaching reading. Also, I can help in Chinses listening and speaking.
SAT Math Tutoring
My score in SAT Math was 700+.
(I took SAT in 2011, and I did not remember the accurate score)
Statistics Tutoring
I got A- for both statistic I and statistic II in college.
And I got A for biostatistics in graduate school.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I have a strong math background and know well in middle school algebra, geometry and spatial reasoning, measurement, data analysis and probability. I can answer various questions in these fields, explain their concept well, and introduce understandable solving methods.
Science Tutoring
My science background, including physics, biology, and chemistry, is strong. I understand well in those contents covered in middle school level. I can answer those related questions and explain underlying concepts in science in middle school level.
Math Tutoring
My grades for calculus I and calculus II in college are both A. And my grades for statistics I and statistics II in college are both A-.
