I adore my two dogs more than anything! Since I am an only child, I consider them my siblings. I also love to travel. Visiting different countries and learning their cultures is one of my passions. I plan to travel a lot before I start a family of my own.

About Me

I am a senior Early Childhood Education major at The University of Georgia. I have had a 4.0 for two consecutive semesters and have been on the Dean's List for two years. I hope to teach in my hometown and while doing so, earn my Masters.

Experience

As an Early Childhood Education Major at UGA, I have had the opportunity to student teach this past semester. I teach a first grade class and also a PreK class, twice a week for eight hours. I work with the students in all subject areas and aid in anyway I can. I also tutor a freshman at UGA so I have experience working with older students as well as elementary aged students. I love having a positive impact on my students and encouraging them in any way i can!

Approach

As a child, I fell behind in math because I went from a private school to a public school, where the curriculum was different. I began to feel discouraged and frustrated, so my parents put me in tutoring. I quickly realized my potential and began to loveschool. As a tutor, I hope to bring this excitement about school to all of my sessions. Students should learn how important education is and I hope to not only teach them content, but study skills that will help them be successful in their lives
