I love to sing and watch old movies whenever I get the chance. I studied music in college before I decided to become a teacher. I am also a huge bird lover with two parakeets at home. In the past 6 years, I have moved across the country three times.

About Me

I am a current 3rd grade teacher with a MAT degree from Johns Hopkins University. After I obtain my National Boards Certification, I plan to go back to school for another Master's Degree.

Experience

am a certified teacher who has taught 3rd and 4th grade. I also have teaching and tutoring experience with kindergarten through 8th grade. I have also taught English online to students living in other countries. My experiences in a variety of educational settings have enabled me to work with students with a variety of special needs.

Approach

I will be able to teach your children a variety of strategies that will enable them to become successful readers and writers. When teaching math, try to include games in my lessons whenever possible am able to provide my own learning materials in addition to any curriculum you would like me to use. I love using technology in my lessons and my students always enjoy this approach. If you allow me to contact your child's teacher, we can work as a team to achieve academic success.
