Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love to travel. Anytime I have a chance, you can find me planning a new trip to an unseen destination. Traveling offers so much freedom and opportunity to learn. It has become one of my favorite pastimes, and one of the things I am always looking forward to even if a trip is not yet planned.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from the University of California Berkeley with a degree in Film and Media Major. I am currently working in the music marketing industry and as a freelance videographer. I am looking to bring a short film intro production in the near future.

Experience

As a member of the Nova Mentoring program during my freshman year of college I had the opportunity to be a weekly mentor for elementary and middle school students. I was able to form bonds and help teach valuable life skills in and out of the classroom. In high school, I was also part of an in school lunch time tutoring program where I helped classmates and underclassmen with college applications and school work.

Approach

I have always enjoyed school and loved finding new ways to solve complex problems. As a tutor I hope to encourage clients to find out what works best for them, and helps them learn most efficiently. I believe patience is important and I feel it is my responsibility to teach clients the material as wells as cultivate positive and long lasting study skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. I truly hope to have the most positive impact on every student I accommodate.
