Hello, my name is Sahara. I have been working with children for over five years. I have an A.A.T. degree from The Communtiy College of Baltimore County in Elementary Education. Currently, I am working as a preschool teacher while attending school for a B.S. in Elementary Education. I enjoy working with children and helping them find the joy of learning.
Experience
Currently a preschool teacher, but also have experience working with children ages 2 to 16. Experienced camp counselor for over seven years, working with students over the summer to help improve their math, reading, and other skills for the up coming school year.
Approach
Learning should be fun and something children want to do. I attempt to bring different aspects of fun and playtime into learning and reviewing. I have found that children enjoy learning more when they can contribute ideas. I like to blend classroom learning styles with camp fun and engagment to help students chidlren retain new and old information.
