About Me
With a B.A. from Yale (Class of '17) in Near Eastern Language and Civilizations, I study Hebrew, Spanish, and Arabic. I am a Phi Beta Kappa Member and received a Libby Rouse Fund for Peace Fellowship, Ganzfried Travel Fellowship, and Schusterman Grant to pursue research, study, or work in the Middle. I am a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship recipient in Hebrew and a Yale Wrexham Prize Nominee for my senior thesis, "Musical Diplomacy in Practice: Polyphony as a Case Study."
Experience
While interning in Nazareth, Israel for Polypony, which builds bridges between Arab and Jewish youth through classical music, I taught violin, viola, and chamber music to students ranging in age from 7-16. At Yale, I am a Freshman Counselor, acting as a freshman adviser to ease the transition to academic, social, and cultural life at Yale. I have started Suzuki teacher training, taking Every Child Can!, and plan to continue with the Suzuki training.
