Helping others to succeed is a reward within itself. I enjoy sharing my knowledge to assist others in progressing to the academic level they want to achieve. I am a math enthusiast and as such, it's really amazing to figure out a really difficult problem after hard work and determination, and I can only hope that my enthusiasm is contagious for the students I atlanta">tutor. About Me
I am really passionate about aiding in the advancement of the younger generation. At the beginning of my collegiate career, I aspired to attend medical school but I quickly realized that my heart belonged to the education field. I am also a peer counselor on campus, so I have been trained in interpersonal communication. This training maximizes my effectiveness as a atlanta">tutor and mentor.
I have engaged in unofficial atlanta">tutoring since high school. Once college began, I helped numerous individuals at my college mostly in mathematics, but chemistry and organic chemistry as well. I am also currently a Resident Assistant on campus, and I atlanta">tutor my residents on a daily basis. I have completed math courses up to Calculus III and now enrolled in Linear Algebra. I am also enrolled in my second semester of Organic Chemistry.
My goal in atlanta">tutoring and mentoring is to meet the student where he/she is. My first session is usually for getting to know the student and the mode of learning that best suits the individual. From there, I try to adjust by using methods that foster learning memory, whether it be hands on physical representations of the material or going through problems step by step.
