About Me

I am graduating Fall 2013 from UCLA as an English major.
I am currently a blog writer, part time tutor, full time student, and ready to offer more help to those students who need it!
I have experience with tutoring elementary and junior high school students; I have experience with college clubs and mentoring youth in college-related issues.

I have tutored for 3 years- elementary school and junior high school students in english, writing, and reading-comprehension/california/los-angeles">reading comprehension.

My tutoring philosophy is this: Letting the student explore his own thoughts and ideas, allowing him or her to articulate them, and then going back and revising/editing/rewording to get the meaning across clearly. Rather than piling on the work, it's important to let the student study comfortably and at his own pace- giving him or her a push only when the brain reaches a study block!
