I was a mascot in high school, and was awarded the UCA Leadership award. I've attended a National Youth washington/summit">Summit, where I had the opportunity to meet Ken Burns, and preview his documentary "The Dust Bowl".

About Me

I'm a freshman at TCC, with intentions of transferring to UT- Austin next fall, I'm very calm and laid back. Determination and leadership are key qualities that I value. I plan on majoring in international development with a focus on sustainable energy resource. My hobbies consist of hiking, traveling and reading.

I've tutored 3 brothers, Mason in 2nd grade needed help with math, River in the 7th grade needed help with reading and Blaise, 4 years old was learning how to read. Working diligently with these three kids, surely payed off. It was amazing to see the outcome after all of the hard work.

Patience, repeating missed problems until the student fully understands and is 100% comfortable completing the task. If a student even feels a little iffy on the subject, I encourage reworking the problem or taking a break to refocus afterwards. I'm a big believer in looking back on goals or accomplishments that were overcome, it's always nice to look back on a task that was once difficult but now is easy.
