According to my friends I could become a comedian because I love to make people laugh. I like to help out people even if it is just the smallest act kindness because other peoples' happiness is also my happiness. I was born into a family who loves dogs but I wouldn't mind owning a cat in my future. I have a passion for fashion and hope to work for a major retailing company one day.

About Me

I have an outgoing personality and am active within my school. I was very involved with extracurricular activities ranging from clubs (Future Business Leaders of America, Key Club, Youth Leadership America, Students Against Destructive Decisions) and was on the jv and varsity tennis team. I love kids and it always brings a smile to my face whenever they are faced with a problem and I am there to help them overcome it. I love to sew, bake, and hangout with friends when I'm not studying or doing homework for classes.

During high school I used to volunteer at the local elementary school and help students in various subjects. I would help them get ideas for essays, help them with math problems, or watch them practice speeches for a class. Although it may not have been a formal tutoring service, I believe my friendly nature and love for kids will help me with having a formal tutoring job.

I would first introduce myself and make the student feel comfortable around me so they can tell me exactly what they need help with and not feel embarrassed. Even if it takes awhile, I will spend time on a problem to make sure the student understands how to solve the problem and do other example problems as well. I will always have a smile and make sure they know that I'm there to help them.
