Considering the fact that I am sociology major, I enjoy reading biographies! Coffee and outdoor jogs are the two things that I look forward to everyday! I am passionate about learning and sharing my knowledge with others. In addition, I enjoy helping people.

About Me

I am a recent college graduate from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I plan on attending graduate school starting in the Fall of 2014. Until then, I cannot think of a better way to spend my time then by investing it into a charlotte">tutoring program. I plan on teaching college one day and this would be an incredible way to gain experience and develop my character.

I have previous charlotte">tutoring experience at Weddington Elementary School located in Charlotte, NC. My experience charlotte">tutoring at an elementary school was wonderful as I was able to work with several 4th grade classrooms for a course of six months. Watching students grow in their mathematical and reading and writing areas was a rewarding experience. In addition, I have experience privately charlotte">tutoring a Spanish speaking elementary student reading and math. It was incredible experience watching the student develop his English skills along the way. Lastly, I have help and lead many study session groups during my college experience on subjects within my major. The last one being Quantitative Analysis.

I strive to create individual development plans with each of my students. I understand that everyone learns at a different level and pace. With that being said- age, speed, level of knowledge, level of content, accuracy, and respectfulness are factors that I take into consideration when developing a plan. I also strive to create a positive and effective working environment.
