About Me
As a recent college graduate of Emory University, I majored in Neuroscience and minored in Religion. In high school, I received the recognition of National Merit Finalist as well as Dean's List for one semester in college. I am currently applying to medical school, and I hope to matriculate in the fall of 2014.
In high school, I tutored students one-on-one in Algebra II and Geometry in addition to math/tennessee/memphis">ACT math memphis">tutoring in a group setting for two years. My main focuses in high school were predominantly in math courses, but I specialize in both math and science classes. In college, I shifted away from core math classes to advanced science classes such as human physiology.
I believe that the best memphis">tutoring method is an adaption of a student's unique approach to learning and way of tackling the course material. The material must be presented in such a way that makes the topic comprehensible and approachable from the student's perspective. In addition, the most efficient way to gain mastery over a subject is to establish a very strong background for the student to build on. I believe not only in training students inn their current course work but also in preparing them to take develop valuable skills and study habits that will last them throughout the rest of their academic career.
