Fun Facts

I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD and I hope to live there again someday. In the meantime, I love living in the Twin Cities and being able to experience the culture of a larger metropolitan region. Some of my hobbies include reading, watching movies, and snowboarding in the winter.

About Me

I am a senior Biology major at the University of Minnesota with aspirations of obtaining a Masters of Nursing degree after I graduate. I enjoy learning in general, however, I am particularly passionate about human anatomy and medicine. I love working with people of all ages and helping them to attain the goals that they have for themselves!

In high school, I was part of a peer mentoring program where we were matched up with a younger student who we met with once a week to work with them on the subjects they were struggling with. Through that experience, I learned that every student has their own unique learning style. It is important for students to understand the way that they learn best in order to reach their full potential.

My approach to minneapolis">tutoring is to help facilitate learning, not to give students all the answers. Being a student myself, I have learned that critical thinking is extremely important at all levels of education and I hope to bring that out in the students that I minneapolis">tutor. I also want to address the personal goals that a student has for themselves and/or help them create goals.
