Fun Facts
I spent a semester studying abroad in Bologna, Italy. I have traveled to 14 countries in my lifetime. My passions include working with children, reading, traveling and yoga!
About Me
I am a senior Early Childhood Education major at Spring Hill College. I have been on the Dean's List every semester since freshman year, and ended my last semester of 24 hours with a 4.0 I would love to teach second grade at a Catholic school after graduation.
Experience
Throughout my college career, I have worked with children each semester. I have been a nanny for two different families, and have tutored consistently at two different locations in Mobile for underprivileged families. I have worked with elementary students of all different grade levels and subject areas.
Approach
As a student studying to be a teacher, I find it helpful to work with students one on one. It is essential to explain the information step by step, provide an example, and then have the student attempt the problem. It is also very important to provide multiple practice problems and have them continue to study the information at home and the next time we meet.

Arts Tutoring
I am a senior Early Childhood Education major. I have taken classes that focus on teaching the arts to young children, such as: Teaching Art and Teaching music. I have also taught several art and music lessons within multiple elementary classrooms.
English Tutoring
I am a senior Early Childhood Education major. I have taken several classes such as Teaching Language Arts that have taught me the proper techniques to teach this subject area, as well as taught multiple English/ Language Arts lessons within Elementary classrooms during my student teaching.
Math Tutoring
I am a senior Early Childhood Education major. I have taken several classes such as Teaching Mathematics, Math for Elementary Teachers 1, and Math for Elementary Teachers 2, that have taught me the proper techniques to teach this subject area, as well as taught multiple fun and creative Math lessons within Elementary classrooms during my student teaching.

I have worked specifically with K-2 students learning how to read and how to recall and comprehend stories of different genres.
Religion Tutoring
I am a senior Early Childhood Education major. I attend a Catholic college, as well as attended Catholic schools all of my life. I have worked at Vacation Bible School camps for many summers.
Writing Tutoring
I am a senior Early Childhood Education major. I have taken several classes such as Teaching Language Arts that have taught me the proper techniques to teach this subject area, as well as taught multiple English/ Language Arts lessons within Elementary classrooms during my student teaching. I have helped students learn how to write proper sentences, expand their vocabulary, and excel in forming paragraphs.
