Fun Facts

I was bit by the travel bug at a very young age. I have been blessed to travel to over 11 different countries, spending extended amounts of time in Kenya, Africa and Edinburgh, Scotland. I hope to travel to many other parts of the world and to continue learning more about other cultures!

About Me

I graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Speech Communications Education and minors in English and Theatre. I taught high school for two years before moving to New York City to work in fashion. I quickly learned my passion is education, and I am excited to be teaching again in the fall!

Experience

I have two years of experience teaching high school state tested English, as well as Theatre, Journalism, and Public Speaking!

Approach

Every student is different and need a different approach to learning. Tutoring allows you the opportunity to work one-on-one and provide the specific approach the student needs. My goal is to bring a positive attitude to create a safe and comfortable environment for learning. I want them to leave my sessions with skills that will help in all subject areas.
