I am passionate about horses, the outdoors, and reading a good book. I love going new places and learning more about the world around me. The moment you think you know a lot the world opens a new door and there are new challenges to master.
About Me
I am pursuing a master's degree in Statistics at Utah State University. I graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Math and Stats Education with a minor in physics. I did my student teaching in Italy and found that I love learning about new cultures and languages.
Experience
My first experience tutoring was at the Snow College Math lab where students were able to come in with their questions in all the math classes taught there. After I left Snow College I became a private tutor for students in elementary school to college students. Also for a time I worked as a tutor for the athletic department of Utah State University. All together I have over 5 years of tutoring experience.
Approach
There is so much to learn in this world, but often it can seem hard and inaccessible to students. The things we don't understand we tend to dislike. I believe that once a certain level of understanding is reached, and with a good teacher, a student can learn and enjoy anything.
