History Tutoring

In college, I minored in Latin American Studies, which required me to take at least 5 history courses and was recommended to be a history tutor. Also, I am a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society for History. Also, in high school, I took higher-level IB history. This intensive two-year course allowed me to take an in-depth look into different time periods in history around the world as well as learn the proper formatting style for history papers.

Writing Tutoring

In college, I was recommended to be a writing fellow for the history department. Also, as a result of writing many research papers in both English and Spanish, I have the tools to elevate a paper to the next level. Also, in high school, I was in the higher-level IB course for Language and Literature. In this course, I worked on writing skills as well as other language skills that would greatly improve written reports.

English Tutoring

I have made A's through my high school career as well as in college in my English courses. I also took higher level IB Language and Literature and scored a 6 out of 7 on the test. I have used some of the skills that my teachers taught me when I struggled with English with the students that I have tutored.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

Reading comprehension is one of the strong suits I have consistently scored high in this subject on standardized tests and in classes where comprehending readings is a must.

Spanish Tutoring

I minored in Spanish at my college. Before deciding to minor, my fluency and understanding of the language allowed me to tutor other students and teach conversational Spanish to some of my peers.

Elementary Math Tutoring

I have tutored kids in elementary math since my junior year in high school.

Social Studies Tutoring

I have tutored kids in social studies since my junior year in high school. I have taken IB History at a higher level and continue to take history courses in college to gain more knowledge of the subject as it interests me. I also took history courses in college, thus giving me in-depth knowledge on the subject.

Conversational Spanish Tutoring

I have taught conversational Spanish to many students. Being bilingual, I have been able to teach students the basics in conversational Spanish as well as moving on to harder topics once they are ready.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in business. During my time in college, my course load included accounting, marketing, management, diversity and inclusion, and finance. I also have internship and work experience that allowed me to apply what I learned in the classroom in the real world.

Middle School Math Tutoring

I have tutored kids in math since my junior year in high school. I believe that if a child can master math in middle school, then they will find the math subjects they encounter in high school to be a breeze.
