Fun Facts

As a proud Hispanic-American I feel so blessed to help others understand my culture and their customs. While pursuing my undergraduate degree at catawba-college">Catawba College I tutored all levels of Spanish and helped students complete cultural activities by cooking! With this experience I was also given the opportunity to be a Spanish Instructor at Angelia's Performing Arts Studio after graduation.

About Me

In college I tutored students relatively close to my age, from 18-25, but working at Angelia's Performing Arts Studio I was so grateful to educate young children ages 5-15. I created games and exercises that were fun, creative, and helped with muscle memory.


Since the completion of my teaching assignment I have worked at Reputation911.com as a content writer. The most exciting part of this position was getting to write Spanish content for a Senator of Mexico!




My approach to charlotte">tutoring, specifically Spanish, is to use mnemonics, flashcards, pictures, songs, and oral presentations as a way to get students familiar with recognizing and interpreting words and phrases. As far as sentence structure and grammar goes, I typically have them do multiple sentence exercises, verb charts, and allow them to reference their text to understand the basics.
