Fun Facts
I am a avid listener of music. All through high school, I had a major obsession with One Direction. I have seen them in concert five times. Another fun fact is that I have discovered a star! I did an internship at SMU a couple summers ago and through that I found a star.
About Me
I am a sophomore Electrical Engineering major at Tufts University in Boston, MA. I was on the Dean's list for both semesters of freshman year. I play bassoon in the Wind Ensemble at Tufts and I am the captain of the club volleyball team at the school as well.
Experience
Last summer, I tutored elementary through high school aged students in various levels of math at Mathnasium in Dallas, TX. I also was a member of National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta (math club) at Lake Highlands High School. Through that, I was able to work with other students at the school in various subject matters, helping them succeed in school.
Approach
I've always enjoyed school and learning. I would come home from school and discuss the concepts I learned with my parents. Both of them are also very math and science oriented so they would often times provide me with different ways to approach a math problem. When I tutor, I am able to use multiple methods to help students grasp a concept. If they are not 100% clear on one topic, I will use different approaches to solving the problem until they fully understand.

Electrical Engineering
Calculus I Tutoring
I took AP Calculus BC in high school and recieved a score of 5 on the AP test. I maintained an A average in the course in high school. This allowed me to place out of calculus 1 and calculus 2 in college.
Physics I Tutoring
I took Physics 1 junior year of high school and maintained an A average. I then took Physics C senior year and also maintained an A average. I got a 4 on both of those AP tests. Then, I took Physics 1 again in college and recieved a B. I have completed this mechanics course three times.
Algebra Tutoring
I took algebra in eighth grade. I recieved straight 100's in this class. It was my favorite math class and I love teaching algebra!
Algebra II Tutoring
I took algebra ii in 10th grade. I recieved straight 100's in this class. I love algebra and I have tutored the most in this subject.
AP Physics Tutoring
I took AP Physics I junior year and AP Physics C senior year. Although both courses were challenging, I enjoyed learning the subject. I maintained an A average in both courses.
Calculus Tutoring
I took AP Calculus, but I had friends that took calculus. I helped them with their material and they benefitted from it. I received an A in AP Calculus.
Calculus AP Tutoring
I took AP Calculus BC and recieved an A in this class. I earned a 5 on the AP exam. This class really challenged my understanding of math and I learned to deepen my love for the subject.
Computer Science Tutoring
I maintained an A avergae in comp sci. In high school, we learned Java and this past year at Tufts we learned C++. I found both of these courses very intriguing.
Math Tutoring
I have taken algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, pre-calculus, AP Calculus BC, calculus 3, and differential equations. In this math classes in high school, I recieved straight A's, while with calc 3, I recieved a B+, and differential equations I recieved an A-. I have tutored multiple people in all areas of these maths and I've enjoyed it deeply!
Physics Tutoring
I have taken Physics 1, Physics C, Mechanics, and Electricity and Magnetism. Although these classes were all challenging, I enjoyed grasping the concepts!
Math Advance Tutoring
I took higher level math all throughout middle school and high school. I always found math easy to learn and I enjoyed learning new ways to approach these problems.
Science Tutoring
I really enjoyed learning science in middle school and found it pretty easy to understand. I recieved straight A's in these subjects and I would love to help other students understand the subject.
General Music Tutoring
I have been playing bassoon for nearly nine years and oer this time I have also taken a music theory class. I love learning about music and find the subject very relaxing. I would love to help someone understand music.
