Fun Facts
I love music and I play four instruments, including my own voice. I like to play basketball, though I was a runner in high school because that's what I'm good at. Meditation is something I try to do every day, and I am very interested in buddhist philosophy.
About Me
I attend Georgia State University, and I am from Atlanta. I study Neuroscience. I love philosophy and debate, and also play chess. I just want to keep studying my interests so that one day I can be either a scientist or professor, and maybe write a book.
Experience
I was a tutor in high school through Mu Alpha Theta. I have also tutored privately, with Kumon in Atlanta, and Mathnasium in Chicago. I tutor my younger sister as well.
Approach
I try to make my students think by prompting them with questions and providing small hints if necessary, rather than just giving them a method to do the work. I think that students will learn more effectively if they have to try to understand the problems rather than just complete them. This will also be an important life skill for them.
