Fun Facts
Teaching is my passion. The best compliment that I have received from students is when they say that I am a real teacher. My explanations are simple and full of practical examples.
About Me
I have taught more than 200 online courses in the last ten years at Kaplan University, the University of Phoenix and the University of Denver, in Economics, Finance and Business, at undergraduate and graduate level. I have taught face to face courses in Business Management at several US universities (Colorado Technical University, University of Miami) and overseas.
I began with the online tutoring in year 2011.
Experience
During the last ten years, I have focused my teaching and tutoring in Economics: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Managerial Economics, and International Economics, at undergraduate and graduate level.
I work as consultant in Mergers & Acquisitions and I have worked as a manager (such as the Gillette company), and international business consultant (Deloitte & Touche, United Nations, World Bank, etc.) in different countries.
Approach
I prepare the session with tailor-made course materials. Sometimes you do not understand the theory, because it has too much math or graphs or you do not know to answer an assignment. In those cases you need simple, practical explanations with examples. That is what I do. In a few words, I help students to improve their comprehension and grades. There is an old English saying: "There are no bad students, there are bad teachers".
