Fun Facts

When I am not teaching, I am a furniture maker and upcycler. I find neglected pieces with great bones and reimagine them into new pieces with personality!
I am a great cook as well!

About Me

I am a retired college professor. My areas of expertise are communication, both written and oral. I am a management/leadership consultant and coach. I taught management, human resource management and entrepreneurship at the undergrad and grad level.
I earned my bachelor's in education and my master's in management.

Experience

I have taught elementary, middle school, college undergrad and grad, and corporate executives. I am an experienced communications teacher, consultant and coach!

Approach

I love to learn but was challenged with learning disabilities. I don't think of them as disabilities any more. I think of them as opportunities to find innovative ways of learning. I can guide others through that process as well. I learn and teach by doing. I have found that many people who struggle in school simply need a new approach. Experiential learning is my favorite approach. I have a demonstrated record of success!
