Fun Facts
I am extremely into Hip Hop music and Hip Hop Culture. I have been writing and performing Hip Hop music for over 7 years, even internationally in Israel and Paris, France. In my spare time, I love to dance, write short stories and reviews, tutor, consult and plan events! Lastly, I am a huge action/adventure person in terms of media, meaning I frequently indulge in comic books, anime/manga, video games, TV shows, and anything of the like.
About Me
I am a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA with a degree in International Studies. While attending, I have been on the Dean List’s for every semester with the exception of one. I have been inducted into two National Honors Societies for my high academic achievement while enrolled. After working and saving money, I plan to enroll in either Harvard University’s Master of Liberal Arts program in English My ultimate goal is to be a professor.
Experience
I started officially mentoring in my Senior high school year, in 2012, as an SAT tutor for the Verbal, Math, and Writing Section for multiple clients for a very low rate to support myself for food and transportation. I helped raised my clients' scores by 300 on average on my first try. When I entered college, I not only became a tutor in French and a frequent editor for English papers for my peers, but I started a tutoring/mentoring foundation of all subjects in my college for incoming Freshmen.
Approach
I initially take time to make sure I not only know my students’ personal strengths and weaknesses in various subjects, but I also take time to meticulously analyze the best way in which they learn (i.e audio, visual, kinetic) and their personal hobbies and likes. With this information, I tailor each session to their personality as much as possible, while making my lessons engaging with worksheets, activities, and short quizzes that the student can even take home.

Arts Tutoring
I received A’s in close to all Arts courses I have taken in middle and High School. Furthermore, all of my extracurricular activities both inside and outside of college emphasize the arts. I am heavily involved and tutor individuals in music writing, music composition and more. For years I worked with and have been frequently involved with individuals who graphic design, are visual artists and who are involved in other areas of the arts, meaning I am adept in practically most fields that concern the arts.
College Algebra Tutoring
Math is the highest section I scored for the SAT back in High School. I have taken all math courses, past Pre-Calculus and up to Statistics and have achieved A’s in close to all of these courses, no less than a B+, through High School and College. I have been known to raise failing Math grades to A’s and B’s with all my clients throughout my freelancing career.
English Tutoring
English is my greatest subject, whether that includes the categories of Literature, Verbal, Oral, Reading Comprehension, Writing or more. Ever since 10th grade of High School and through all of my undergraduate courses, I have received an A in every single English course I have taken. I have always been enrolled in the highest Honors English classes in both High School and College. In High School, I scored a 5 out of 7 on the International Baccalaureate Exam for my oral and reading/writing skills.
French Tutoring
I am pretty adept in the basics of French grammar, writing, and speaking. From my 10th grade year of High School through college, I have received an A in every French course I have enrolled, even taking Honors courses in the subject. I gained a scholarship for an intern/study abroad fellowship in Paris, France in 2015 and stayed two months there in residency speaking French every day and interacting with Parisian businesses and locals.

I have studied abroad in France, accepted abroad fellowships to Morocco and South Africa, and have done field work in Israel as a Youth Ambassador. This contributes to my experience.

All International Studies courses are under the branch of Political Science at Morehouse College, so all of my International Studies courses were Political Science courses by default, as well as the electives I took as well that focused on U.S political science.
