About Me
I am studying Biology at the washington">University of Washington. I am a sophomore and I have been on the Dean's List every quarter. My GPA is 3.79. I want to go to graduate school to earn a PhD in biology. I would like to become a researcher or teacher in biology.
In high school, I tutored 6th grade students in math at East Ridge Elementary School. I also volunteered in the summers with Outdoors for All, which provides day camps for kids with developmental disabilities. As a counselor, I went hiking, canoeing, and to the playground with the kids. During my first year at the washington">University of Washington, I tutored with the Pipeline Project. I volunteered in a 3rd grade classroom at Olympic View Elementary School.
I have always enjoyed washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutoring and working with kids. My younger sister also comes to me with homework questions. I am always happy to help her and other students learn and practice a concept, rather than simply giving an answer. I have done well in school because I work hard and I know how to study. I want to help other students learn how to work hard and how to study as well, because that is the way to succeed in any class or subject.
