Fun Facts

I am both a both left and right brained person. I love science and art. In my free time, instead of going outside, I enjoy staying at home and do something for myself such as reading book, watching dance performances, reading articles, painting, or baking. I love hearing about science and "dreaming" about the near future of the world. Space, psychology, environmental science, science fiction are the top topics that I always care about.

About Me

I graduated from Texas Christian University since December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising. I was in Dean's list during my freshman and senior year of college. Next year, I plan to get my Master degree in Fashion Design. My ultimate goal is to become an entrepreneur and work within the fashion industry.

Experience

I started tutoring my cousin to help her take the entrance math test to her high school when I was in high school. As I earned 4.0 in Calculus and Statistics class in college, I voluntarily tutored some students in Calculus class. I started to tutor one-by-one for my friend in the Buying and Merchandising class.

Besides math, during my junior year, I also helped students in Product Development class and Digital Design class get into Illustrator to finish their class projects.

Approach

I was in the bottom half of the class when I was 6 and 7. My dad therefore decided to switch his decent job to another one to spend more time tutoring me. Instead of giving me answers, my dad always asked me questions to provoke my thinking. He did not allow me to use cheat sheet, but always reasoned out how each formula existed and explained how they can be used. Since I turned 9, I was able to read the book to get the formulas and solve most of the math class' s problems.
