Fun Facts

I am one of six children and have lived in about 5 different places in the US. Spanish is my first language and I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Growing up in an enormous family, I am passionate about children and the future my generation creates for them. I love horse back riding, hiking, adventure and traveling in general. I love to try new things and am obsessed with progressing in all aspects of my life.

About Me

I am a bilingual pre-med student at FIU and am currently in the process of moving into Maryland. I am temporarily finishing prerequisites at CBCC but plan to transfer to a better university next semester. I hope to get accepted into medical school and eventually become a forensic pathologist or pediatric oncologist.

Experience

I was always the one to help with homework and projects growing up but began earning money for it in college. At first, I would help friends and classmates but when I started to get more and more "students" I decided to look for a tutoring job. I worked for Sunshine Fl Tutoring in Miami, Fl for 2 years and it was the best experience Ive ever had.I met so many families and children I hold close to my heart to this day and had the honor of watching those kids grow and excell in school.

Approach

Growing up I was always ahead of my class. I did very well in school, had a sharp memory and competed in numerous spelling and geography bees. I always studied with my mother and had a few friendly teachers/aids who molded me as a student& created my foundation as a teacher. I believe in dedicating time to finding what kinds of study skills suit each student best and keeping them motivated and focused by testing if they're auditive, visual, reading/writing or kinesthetic learners
