I love doing anything outdoors, especially playing soccer, biking and hiking. I spent my spring semester of 2011 studying abroad in Seville, Spain where I had the opportunity to travel throughout southern Europe and northern Africa!

About Me

I am from Indianapolis, IN. I am a Spanish major and an education minor and will graduate certified to teach high school Spanish. I love to get to know people and enjoy tutoring because it's practice for teaching!

- I tutored Hispanic elementary students throughout high school.
- For my minor, I spend many hours observing students and teachers in near by school districts.
- I am a Learning Assistant for student athletes at TCU.

I view tutoring and mentoring as two things that go hand in hand. From my own experience, I've found the best learning environment is a low-pressure one where the student feels comfortable asking as many questions as they need to. I also believe in repetition as an important tool when learning to retain challenging information.
