During my time in the Navy I developed a passion for SCUBA diving.

I have over 150 published colorist credits with companies such as DC Comics, Archie, and more.

About Me

I started working in graphic design during my time in high school and worked through desktop publishing into my freelance career as a digital colorist in the comic book industry. With my bachelor’s degree now behind me I am seeking my MFA through SCAD. My time in the Navy afforded me the chance to see the Pacific. Today I look forward to finishing my MFA and teaching design theory and digital publishing.

Experience

Since 2003 I have provided digital coloring and 4 color pre-press preparations for comic books and graphic novels. Client List Includes Devil’s Due Publishing, Capstone, Scholastic, Courier Magazine Japan, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Archie Comics, and Image Comics.

Approach

I approach tutoring with the specific age of the client in mind. I present the material in a different manor from child to teen and adult.

My years teaching has shown me a simple logic works best.

As children, we thrive on exploration and discovery.
As teens, we look to our environment and idols to find inspiration and direction.
As adults, we view the path traveled before us and the evidence it provides.
