A hobby I enjoy is crafting and seeing what nifty ideas I can put together from Pinterest. I also like spending some time throwing the ball around with my dog, I'm an animal lover! While studying abroad in Venice, Italy this past summer I came to realize my infinite love for gelato and we've been inseparable since then!

About Me

I am a current senior at Georgia State University majoring in Biology as well as minoring in Chemistry and Spanish. My future goals after graduating is to pursue Dental School. I currently volunteer at the only dental clinic in Georgia that is fully staffed by volunteer Dentists to help those who cannot afford dental procedures. Aside from volunteering and being a member of the American Undergraduate Dental Association I am currently the President of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund at GSU!

As the older sibling of three I always found myself helping my brother and sister on their homework assignments and projects, but never thought much of it. Once I got to college I realized that I had a passion to share my knowledge and help others grow as much as I had. I began atlanta">tutoring my neighbors children and shortly after began volunteering at after school programs.

My first language was Spanish, but at school the spoken language was English. I found it hard to transition between both languages when I was younger which was the reason for which I struggled so much more than other students. In the third grade I had the most amazing teacher who helped me grow so much as a person and if it wouldn't have been for her help I don't know where I'd be today. That's why as a atlanta">tutor I'd like to see growth within students who don't necessarily think they've got what it takes and show them that with effort and guidance anything is achievable, you've just got to have the correct mindset.
