Fun Facts
I absolutely love running. When I am not studying or working, I definitely can be found running or at the gym. I am currently training for my first Olympic Triathlon and my first marathon. I love allowing my mind to become clear and working up a good sweat!
About Me
I am a third year Biomedical Engineering student at San Jose State University. I have a 3.3 GPA. My goal in life is to help humanity with my degree. More than anything else I hope to work with children with prosthetics and wearable technology.
Experience
I volunteered over 30+ hours in just one semester tutoring children here at our local MLK Library. I have worked with ages from 6 all the way to 21. I have helped numerous college peers pass our rigorous science and math classes by simply scheduling one on one study sessions every other month, or inviting them to my study groups. There is nothing I love more than seeing someone finally understand a concept they were struggling with!
Approach
As a child in early elementary I struggled and had teachers try to hold me back. Even at a young age I had a hard work ethic so my entire education has been me pushing and working my butt off. I have found that quality over quantity when it comes to studying works for me best. As a tutor I try to make sure we are using our time efficiently rather than suggesting we study for hours and hours. I make sure to break down concepts to the level my sessions need.

I have mastered Calculus II. As many know, Calculus II can be an extremely difficult class. I have passed Calculus II and understand the concepts very well.

Pre Calculus lays the base for all other Calculus courses so I understand the importance of being successful in this subject and knowing the material. I have been successful in my math career thus far and have completed up to Calculus II successfully.
