Fun Facts
Besides math, another passion I have is hair. For the past 2 year I've worked at a beauty supply store and I'm constantly changing my hairstyle. Besides this I am also a very goofy person and love making joke.
About Me
I am a student at North Carolina A&T State University. I am from Chicago, Il and I will be graduating in December 2017. After graduation, I plan to work towards being a high school mathematics.
Experience
As a mathematics student, I naturally spent a lot of time in the math lab. Even though I wasn't an assigned tutor, I found myself helping non-math students that came to the lab in need of assistance. Eventually I became an assigned tutor and made it my mission to spend more time in the lab.
Approach
As I went through multiple math classes, I noticed teachers only taught one way to solve a problem and that way was the "right way". I found that this is just not true. When someone came to me with a problem, I try to explain how to approach it in various ways in hopes they will grasp onto one of the ways. I keep explaining different ways until I finally hear "well when you put it that way, I get it".

Basic Elementary math comes very easy to me and it's not challenging to explain it.
Calculus I Tutoring
I actually took this course twice because I didn't receive college credit for it. I don't recall my high school grade but when I took it in college I received an A. This was probably my favorite math class and I find myself being able to explain these topics the best.
