Fun Facts

I’m currently working on self-publishing my own book on Amazon’s platform. I started writing it when I was in high school! I speak a little bit of Japanese and Vietnamese, and I enjoy doing graphic design. Art is a great passion of mine, and I hope to someday do it for a living.

About Me

I graduated from TCU in May of 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and I plan on substituting for the AISD school district as well as tutor. I had an overall GPA of 3.75 and a major GPA of 3.87. I plan to pursue writing novels as well as continue being involved in the field of education.

Experience

I have a teaching certificate in English Language Arts for grades 7-12 and have a few years of teaching experience.

Approach

To effectively be a tutor, I believe it is important to access the areas the students are having the most trouble with and make a plan that caters to that need. By tackling subjects in phases and building on a foundation, students won't be overwhelmed by the material.
