Father of a baby girl
About Me
Hello guys,
My name is Jonathan Giraldo; I’m 23 years old, and a father of a 17 month old baby girl. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Florida International University. My future plans are to obtain a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. Since I was in elementary school, I have always loved science and math and I always have a drive to solve difficult problems just for the fun of it. As a student, I have covered multiple courses at different levels in math, physics, chemistry, and biology which I have obtained either A’s or B’s.
As a miami">tutor, I have volunteered in a couple of places to guide and mentor kids and young adults of low income families here in Miami. Additionally, I have worked as a miami">tutor independently and for a private company for about 2 years in a row. Subjects tutored include: Pre-Algebra through Calculus 3, General to Organic Chemistry, Physics (high school to college level), US History, among others.
I consider that as a miami">tutor I’m not just a homework helper. In the other hand, I am a guider that motivates and make the student realize the importance of the material being learned. When I miami">tutor, I connect the different subjects to real-life situations in order to make the material more approachable and fascinating for my student.
