Fun Facts

I was born and raised in the Bronx and I am an avid Yankee fan. I have lived in Florida for the past seven years, including three years in the Orlando area. I don't know how to swim as of yet, maybe one day I will learn since I do live near plenty of beaches.

About Me

I graduated from CCNY with a Master's Degree in Education and a concentration in high school mathematics.

I have tutored numerous elementary, middle school, high school, college and adult students in New York and Florida for over ten years. As a certified mathematics teacher I have had the opportunity to miami">tutor the students in my class as well as those of other teachers after school. I have assisted students with the FCAT, ASVAB, and GED. I also tutored many students for the SAT and ACT that lived in the Lake Mary and Heathrow areas of Seminole County.

I once taught a college class entitled Math Anxiety. While miami">tutoring students in my neighborhood in the Bronx I noticed that many students who did well in their classes and were extremely intelligent did not do so well in math or on standardized exams. I tutored students with the philosophy that all students can learn and can be successful. They just have to be shown that math and standardized exams are not the boogie man and that there are numerous ways to solve any kind of problem.
